We are open from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily. We wlcome all visitors. Self-guided audio tours are avilable to individual or small groups at the information center.

Our famous dining hall hours are 11:30am to 1:30am Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 2:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. See how other people think of our veggie buffet.

Please respect the temple and note the following:

1.Smoking is prohibited on premises.　

2. Photos and video recordings can be taken only at outdoors.

3. No commerical photography is allowed without permission.

4. Please DO NOT bring meat of any kind, alcohol or beverages on temple grounds.

5. Please show respect to the Temple and dress appropriately: no tank tops, shorts or mini skirts.

6. Comfortable shoes are recommanded for climbing stairs and slopes.

Hsi Lai Temple now offers free guided tours for small groups or individuals. No advance reservation is needed! Just gather at the Information Center at 1:30 pm or 3:00 pm on any Saturday or Sunday, and a docent will be on hand to give you a guided tour. The tour will cover the Bodhisattva Hall, gardens, courtyard, and Main Shrine, and will last forty-five minutes to an hour. Of course the docents will tailor the tour based on the wishes of the group as well. The museum is not included in the tour, but for a small entrance fee ($1.00) you are certainly welcome to visit the museum before or after the tour. Come join a tour soon for an interesting look at Hsi Lai Temple. For bigger groups (more than 15), please call ahead for a reserved tour so that we can accommodate you better.

Guided tour is also available with reserveration. It is available daily between 10:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. for group of 15 or more, It takes about 1 ½ hours to visit Buddha Halls, Gardens and the Art Gallery (Museum).

$2 dolllar donation per person for booked tour is appreciated.
$8 doncation per person for booked tour & lunch for 15 people or more.
$9 doncation per person for booked tour & lunch for 15 people or more.
