Filial Piety Emperor Liang Repentance Dharma Service
The 2022 Ullambana Festival or Filial Piety Month is approaching. In emulating the Arhat Maudgalyayana’s memorialization of his mother to advocate the virtue of filial piety and repaying the kindness of one’s parents and ancestors, Hsi Lai Temple will conduct the Filial Piety Emperor Liang Repentance Dharma Service from July 31 to August 7 and the Amitabha Triple Contemplation Service on August 7 (Sun) at 1:30 pm. All the services will be livestreamed online. Merits accrued from these services will be dedicated to participants’ ancestors and departed loved ones so they may be reborn in the Buddha’s pure land. This is also a good opportunity to repent transgressions, purify the mind, and enhance wisdom.
