2020 Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Dear Volunteer /Bodhisattva:

Give yourself a pat on your back! During Chinese New Year, hundreds of thousands of people came to Hsi Lai Temple to offer incense, pray for Dharma words, and hit the lucky bell, wishing for more joy, health and wisdom for this New Year. All merits that people gain are because of your effort, aspiration and contribution. For that, we are greatly thankful.

Just like what Venerable Master Hsing Yun, the founder of Fo Guang Shan, always emphasizes, “Volunteers are bodhisattvas in the Human World.” They are not here for fame or gains, but contribute and serve others willingly and with joy. This is the spirit of the volunteer bodhisattva, which can easily be seen in your actions.

There is no word to express how grateful we are to your help. Thus, we hope to invite you to come for the “New Year Volunteer Appreciation Dinner”. We look forward to seeing you there!

Auspicious Blessing & “Every Journey in this World is a Path to Happiness”!
